Firstly I guess we need to explain what we mean by full screen.
Full screen virtual tours do what the name suggests,
they literally will fill your whole screen (monitor). We set the
tour to percentages of your screen rather than exact sizes so despite
the size of your screen our tours will always stretch to 100% width.
Quicktime still leaves the browser bars visible
where our new java tours literally fill the whole screen.
What are the benefits?
Think of it in terms of watching a movie. Could
you settle for a small movie in just a corner of your TV screen
or would you insist on watching it in fullscreen?
The same is surely true with virtual
tours?
Most providers still offer nothing more than
the small java windows we used to be restricted to due to slow connection
speeds and QuickTime popularity. Today, with Broadband so popular

Are there any disadvantages?
Definitely not.
Some might try to tell you that not everyone
has quicktime and they’d be right but by using Optical FX
we can now offer the same size with java.
Others will query the file size but even our
fullscreen tours are typically under a megabyte and with the streaming
technology of QuickTime you can be looking at the front view while
the back is still loading. The few seconds more it takes to load
is far out weighed by the massive difference in size and quality.
Even price shouldn't be an objection. You’re
getting more than 3 times the size and quality of a typical java
tour for little more than many of our competitors charge for an
vastly inferior product.
Fullscreen tours are the future, there’s
little doubt about it. The question is whether you want to waste
money on a short term fix that will soon be outdated or get ahead
