Domain name management

We understand that some customers prefer to purchase their own web domains, and do their own domain name management. However we are more than happy to purchase your domains and manage them together with your Narked website hosting. This makes life easier for you because we will keep your domain names in a secure place and renew them automatically when they are due.

Have you chosen a domain name yet?

The ‘naming process’ is very important for a variety of reasons:

• How easy is your domain name to spell?
• Will it be easy to remember?
• Are there other businesses with similar names?
• Should you opt for .com or .co.uk, or another?
• Should you have more than one name pointing to your site?

If you have not yet chosen your name we are happy to advise and ensure you choose the most appropriate name for your business – please just ask

So what do we do once we have your domain?

• We will configure your domain to work with your website.
• We have them on auto renew, so you will never lose them.
• You still own your domains – as long as you make the payments!
• If you ever wish to transfer them away, there’s no charge.
